What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Rich Site Summary" - it is a format for distributing and gathering content from sources across the Web. Web publishers use RSS to create and distribute news feeds that include links, headlines, and summaries. Currently, IGES EnviroScope supports RSS 0.91.

What are news feeds and how do I use them?

A feed is a regularly updated summary of web content, along with links to full versions of that content. When you subscribe to a given website's feed by using a feed reader, you will receive a summary of new content from that website.
